Mark LoGalbo: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Role: Mark is the primary visionary and decision maker within the company. He is responsible for setting the direction of Sarum and ensuring the overall success of the organization. He is also involved with business development, marketing, partner relationships, and consulting.

Background: Mark has over 21 years of IT security, physical security and Law enforcement experience. He currently holds several high-level IT security certifications (CISSP, CAP, GSLC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor). Mark has served in both the British and US Armies, gaining experience in military police operations, investigations, counter-terrorism, system administration, and serving as a US Army Information System Security Officer (ISSO). Mark completed one combat tour whilst serving with the British Army in Northern Ireland, and was medically discharged from the US Army in 2001.

Between 2001 and 2006, Mark worked on several US Government contracts, specializing in Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and security project management. In 2006, Mark was hired by a rapidly growing 8(a) firm, where after a short time, he was promoted to Chief Operations Officer (COO), having more than doubled the company's revenue. In 2008, Mark decided to take the leap and founded Sarum LLC.

Hobbies/Interests:  Hiking, swimming, kayaking, paint balling and rugby enthusiast. Mark currently donates some of his spare time to (ISC)2, as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the CAP certification exam writers board.

 

Gina Mahin: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Role:  Gina has overall operational responsibility for Sarum's day-to-day business functions. She provides corporate leadership to all of Sarum's government contracts and commercial customers, as well as acting as the primary point of contact for business development activities and employee relations.  

Background: Gina has over 21 years of IT and business improvement/leadership experience.  Her career began with Origin Technology In Business, Inc. an international consulting organization focused on supporting major manufacturing companies implement an ERP solution.  Gina has also held several key management roles, including, launching, managing and growing consulting practices.  As a partner with Primary Systems, Gina assisted a start-up organization in obtaining $350 million dollars of funding, saved millions of dollars for a world-wide manufacturer, and developed and delivered a custom leadership/management training workshop for a global manufacturer.

The focus from commercial to government was a direct result of her support of Owl
Computing Technologies, Inc. a leading provider of Cross-Domain Solutions.  This support allowed her to engage the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense and the Federal Civilian areas of the Federal government.  Gina's first connection to Sarum was working as a Business Development (BD) consultant, assisting the company to expand into new federal markets. It soon became apparent that Gina's talent for BD and operations, combined with her extensive leadership experience was of great value to Sarum and as of the 1st January 2011, Gina became the COO of Sarum.

Hobbies/Interests: Walking, tennis, golf, and is a Starbucks fanatic.

Timothy Schilbach: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Role: Tim is responsible for developing and implementing technology initiatives within Sarum. He is the company's top technology executive, playing an integral role in Sarum's IT strategic direction, development, and future growth. Tim is also the lead consultant for the Sarum's NetIQ line of business.

Background: Tim has over 17 years of active duty and National Guard service. He first enlisted in the US army in 1992 and later became a Commissioned Officer in the National Guard. During his military service, Tim has had 6 combat tours, including Bosnia (three times), Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Tim is currently serving as a Captain in the Virginia National Guard, where he commands a Computer Network Defense Cell (CND).

Tim's technical background has included everything from desktop management to large-scale infrastructure design. His main specialty includes cloud-based technologies, communications, and infrastructure design and management. Tim has recently been awarded a Doctorate of Management in Information Systems Technology.

Hobbies/Interests: Ethical Hacking, cloud computing, computer forensics, quantum computing, running, cycling. Recently voted in as the Vice President of the Virginia National Guard Association. 

  

Jim Cipolloni: Director of Customer Services

Role: Jim's overall responsibility is for sales and customer support of the Sarum Infrastructure services. In his sales development role, Jim is responsible for the success of Sarum's White Label program, V-Oasis Reseller program, and the V-Oasis Independent Agent program.  In his customer service role, Jim is responsible for creating and maintaining a high level of after sales care, ensuring that each infrastructure customer is receiving continuous support for their solutions and services. Jim works closely with Sarum's V-Oasis Regional Account Directors, V-Oasis Account Managers, and Reseller Partners to ensure that every customer receives the highest quality service and support.

Background: Jim has over 15 years of customer service experience ranging from owning his own company, to selling Real Estate and Insurance. Before his venture towards customer service, he graduated as an Actuary from Temple University and began his career in the IT department of a fortune 500 insurance company.  Jim's goal is striving to provide unparalleled customer service.  His level of dedication in helping his clients through every step of the sales process and lending assistance during the difficult decision making process are what set him apart.  Developing partnerships and relationships is the key to his success, and his guidance is unmatched.

Hobbies/Interests: Football, Bowling, and trying new restaurants.
