Sarum LLC News
December 2012 - Sarum raises $5,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project.
Sarum held its second annual corporate paintball event on the 1st December, but this year was a little different! At the conclusion of the day's battling, the bravest of women and men from both opposing teams ran the gaunlet to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project. The gaunlet consisted of the challenger, running through the castle grounds unarmed, while marksmen rained terror and paintballs upon them.
The first team up was the ladies team, joined by several umpires from the hosting paintball site. There were certainly no gentlemanly gestures being shown, as a rapid hail of paint-filled projectiles hurtled towards them immediately upon the starting signal. Other teams included an interesting light saber battle between Darth Vader and Obi-wan Kenobi. It didn’t last long as the sharpshooters soon hit their targets multiple times, forcing the intense battle to turn more into a Usain Bolt dash for life. Last team of the day included Sarum’s corporate lawyer, who for some unbeknown reason attracted the most attention for the sharpshooters.
